Did you know that currently there is no governmental standards that ensure all Boarding establishments adhere to the same rules and regulations?

Kennels and Catteries are only answerable to local councils, where standards vary across the country?

The Kennel Owners and Breeders Associations primary aim is to ensure that all establishments work towards a common goal.  That is to provide the Best Health and Welfare possible for British Pets. 

We are a not-for-profit trade association, which exists to not only to improve the standards of care for dogs and cats but also to raise the standards of boarding and breeding establishments operating in the industry.

Those establishments that display the KOBrA badge signify that the establishment has passed a KOBrA annual veterinary inspection and met minimum core standards in relation to accommodation, husbandry and management, and that issues such as disease prevention are given maximum consideration.

Pet owners will know and respect the KOBrA kennels and breeders. KOBrA members will be seen as the elite of the kennelling and breeding world, and only those who join and reach the standard will be able to display the KOBrA five star badge.

As a member you will also have the opportunity to open a KOBrA vaccination clinic at your premises and increase your profits and cut the costs to your clients.
